Experimenting with the Korg Kaossilator
The first track I am releasing here is a 2-minute experimentation with a Korg Kaossilator; I spent about 3 hours on it this afternoon....

This cool half-synth, half-toy is selling out in stores all over Japan; Lucky enough, one of my associates was able to find one at a local Atlanta store.
To get a quick glimpse of how it works, watch a minute of this:
The options are a little limited; there is no mixing functionality or control over various loops, but it still holds potential for some use in the professional realm. It could be a lifesaver used as a quick interim in a DJ set, for example. Ultimately, its is still just a toy, with no capacity to load user sounds or MIDI capabilities.
I think the success of this ~200$ makes it safe to assume that Korg will expand this idea into a more professional-audio minded tool.
